Lead in Middle School Ministry
We’re excited you’re considering leading in a Middle School cell or home group! Our groups need committed Christians who want to impact students for Christ.
Before applying, please review the expectations below and talk with your home church leader to confirm this is a good fit. Don’t let feelings of inadequacy hold you back—God may want to use you here.
2 Corinthians 3:5–6 "Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. 6 He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life."

Leadership Expectations
- Active in church life: Stay engaged in Central Teaching, Home Church, Cell Group, and discipleship, while modeling a committed Christian walk.
- Spiritual vitality: Let us know if your walk with Christ or other key areas falter—we want to support your growth.
- Lead, not just help: Volunteers are leaders, setting a spiritual example (1 Timothy 3).
Your Role
- Teaching: You may be asked to teach. Training, outlines, and feedback are provided.
- Mentoring: Meet with students one-on-one or in a group of 2-3 to study the Bible, pray, and encourage their faith.
- Training & events: Attend quarterly leader trainings, key events, retreats, and summer camp.
- Fun: Plan creative, enjoyable activities—fun builds connection and lasting impact.
